Sherry, Linda, Jay, Rick, Jan, Lisa, Doug and all the family,
I do think I loved her as much as all of you. I felt like I was one of hers…she sure made me feel like it. I will never forget her goofy orneriness, or her ability to laugh at herself. The love she had for all her family was so real and so strong. She absolutely loved you all…US all! She was loved back two-fold. It always brightened my day to see her and I will always think about her and get that warm embraced feeling she always left me with. I am so grateful to have had the priviledge to really know her and love her. I know Bob, Collin and Ryan feel the same.
With love and sympathy, Kris

We regret that we could not be there, but we have said prayers for the family in this sad loss. I think Michael spoke such true words; Grandma was always there for everyone, always pouring her heart into cooking Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners, so many wonderful memories. I also remember there wasn’t a time when Grandma & Grandpa lived in Arcanum that I would walk through the door and she would always be cooking or baking something wonderful. Grandma was such a strong confident lady and I believe she passed on so many of her qualities to all of us. She touched everyone that knew her. I will miss her so very much. God bless all of you and take care of one another.
Love always,
Debbie Lewis says
Linda,
Sorry to hear about your Mom. I just found out about it tonight when I went in to bowl.
My thoughts & prayers are with you and your family tonight.

For as long as I can remember Granny was always there for me. I think back on those days when she would make me a meal, no matter what it was everyone would say she is famous for making it because it was so good, and then we would watch old movies together. Or how everyone in the entire family would swarm her whenever she was around. She was always being talked to and asked for advice. I will never forget those times I had with her, she was truly an amazing woman.
Angela Burden says

Although we can’t be there at this time, our prayers are with you all. May God give you the strength to face the days ahead, and remember, his grace is sufficient. Aunt Melda was a hoot! When she was around, everyone had a smile. She will be missed. PS…Rick, if you still live at the same area close to Louisville, we need to get together sometime. Only 5 minutes apart.
